Now is your chance to be a part of the 2017 HAZMAT Conference, June 15-18, 2017 in Baltimore, MD. We are currently seeking presentations that reflect the new ideas and solutions being implemented by HAZMAT teams around the country. If you’ve always wanted to be a presenter, now is your chance!

Submission Types
Individuals may submit topics to be considered as either a workshops or seminars

  • Workshops: Workshops will be 90 minutes long.
  • Seminars: Pre-conference seminars may be 3, 4, or 8 hours long

There are very few time slots for sessions longer than 90 minutes, and we receive many more seminar submissions than there are open slots. Instructors are encouraged to submit 90 minute sessions. The conference planning committee may shorten a seminar session to fit into an open but shorter time slot.

Paper Evaluation and Selection
The Hazmat Planning Committee will review all submissions and select sessions based on relevance, timeliness of the content, and the qualifications of the presenter. New and unique programs that have not been presented at other conferences are encouraged.
